Daniel Raček


During his studies at the Mathematical-Physical faculty of Jan Amos Komensky University he became involved in contemporary dance and in 2004 he graduated from VŠMU in Bratislava, field of study Pedagogy of modern dance. Currently he´s a member of Debris Company Slovakia in Bratislava and since 2007 he collaborates with DOT 504 company. As a dancer he participated in projects of K.Foss, J. Svobodová (Archa theatre), I. M. Popovici, Z. Hájková, M. Hawkins, E. Gál, A. Sedlačková, Z. Bacová, etc. Recently he cooperates as a dancer with Jozef Fruček and Linda Kapetanea (RootLessRoot Company). He´s been teaching dance since 1999 and currently teaches modern dance at Conservatoire of J. L. Bella in Banská Bystrica, in Štúdio tanca in Banská Bystrica and at Conservatoire of L. Janáček in Ostrava. In 2006 he was awarded Philip Morris Award for the best dance performance in contemporary dance.
