Teresa Noronha Feio
Teresa is a Portuguese freelance dancer. She’s graduated from Fontys dansacademie in The Netherlands as a dance theatre performer in 2010. Having before a long training in classical dance.
Since her graduation Teresa worked as a dancer for: Dogwolf company directed by Chris de Feyter – Dear Mr. Wolfand Sensing Woods; Einat Tuchman – Jorrit, Ishe Youshe and Domino project; Loutop cie for the performance Attachè; Colletivo 320 Chili, in the performance Ai migranti.
At the moment Teresa collaborates with Il Cantiere from the choreographer Sara Marasso in the new creation Mapping and with Vânia Gala, performed in Invited Guest, Cooling Down signs, an European production – Beyond Front@ and most recently is developing 35 days of nothing to say, shown in Touchwood, in The Place.
As a young artist Teresa is one of the creators and performers from Leadership collective, together with Shosha Van Kranendonk and Elodie Morard. Their first creation is developing with support of STUK, CC Leuven and Provinciaal Domein Dommelhof, Neerpelt.
Collaborating with Elodie Morard they developed two film noir inspired works: Absurd is divine, (toured in The Netherlands, Portugal, UK and France and was nominated for enterpreepijs in Theaterfestival Boulevard) and Ground Floor, a co-production of theatre De NWE Vorst in Tilburg and the Citè danse in Grenoble.
Recently Teresa started collaborating for a contemporary circus and dance performance with cie Bonsai.
